Brief: Define the audience, shape a clear social and communications strategy, and create a simple brand system a small team could use confidently from launch.
Audience: Women in mid-life seeking clarity, connection and open conversation around menopause, online and in person.
Outcome: A defined audience strategy, social media and comms plan, and a practical brand toolkit built for everyday use. Strong early traction, including rapid organic growth and a sold-out first event.
STRATEGY, BRAND & ACTIVATION
We started by getting clear on who Social Menopause was for, and what those women weren’t getting elsewhere. That audience thinking shaped the positioning, tone and key messages.
Then we built a simple social and comms plan to grow trust quickly: clear content pillars, guidance on how to show up, and a rhythm the team could actually sustain.
The brand was designed to feel like a conversation, not a campaign. Warm, direct and easy to use in-feed. Delivered as a lightweight Canva toolkit with templates and rules so the team could run it without design support. Early traction followed fast, including strong engagement and a sold-out first event.
Starting The Social Menopause was about breaking the silence and creating a space where women feel seen, heard, and supported. Addition gave us a brand with the confidence to launch with clarity and heart, and the toolkit meant we could get moving straight away.
